Thanks to #EarthBridge we had the pleasure of hosting Matthias Forkel and Xiao Liu from the Institute of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at TUD. Our discussion was mainly about the Global Ecosystems Dynamics Investigation (GEDI) data. Up to now, the group at CZU has primarily focused on evaluating the measurements, while Xiao and Matthias have been utilizing the data to track changes in canopy cover over time. Our aim was to determine the future direction of our joint research, focusing on the quality and usability of GEDI laser altimeter data.
