We warmly invite researchers, students, and practitioners to share their work – whether it’s technical, applied, or anywhere in between. EarthBridge thrives on interdisciplinary exchange, and we welcome contributions that connect geospatial technologies with ecology, conservation, forestry, hydrology, or other environmental fields. Typical topics include those listed below, and we’ll be happy to see them explored in greater depth. At the same time, we’re very much looking forward to new ideas and fresh perspectives that can enrich and broaden the conversation.
If you’d like to present, please send us the title of your talk by 31 August 2025 using the registration form. There’s no need to submit an abstract. Standard presentations will be 15 minutes long. Keynote and invited talks may be longer. We recommend using at least 24-point font and making your slides clean and legible – the historic hall is beautiful, but quite spacious. Please aim for clear visual communication.
Example topics include:
- Accessibility and openness of spatial data for environmental research and practice
- Spatial data science for environmental modelling
- Sampling completeness, bias correction and data quality
- Remote sensing platforms and multi-sensor fusion
- Spectral–biodiversity relationships
- Phenology and temporal dynamics in spectral signals
- Lidar-derived terrain and forest structure models
- High-resolution terrain and hydrological models
- Natural habitat and vegetation structure mapping
- Landscape change detection and land cover transitions
- Remote sensing of urban green infrastructure and ecosystem services
