We would like to cordially invite you to the EarthBridge conference, which will take place on 25-26 September 2025 in the Knights‘ Hall of the Castle in Kostelec nad Černými Lesy (40 km from Prague, Czech Republic).

EarthBridge is our long-term initiative (including the Horizon Twinning project of the same name), seeking common ground between Earth observation specialists and environmental research and practice. We are therefore delighted to welcome the participation of all scientists, students and practitioners, both those who have long been involved with some aspect of Earth observation and those who are specialists in ecology and the environment and want to learn more about the benefits of Earth observation for their work.

What to look forward to:

– EarthBridge key note talks

– Talks by senior and early stage researchers (feel free to register yours)

– Practitioner talks (feel free to register yours)

– Staying in an ancient castle in conjunction with a conference on modern topics

– An evening tour of the castle, including parts that are otherwise off-limits to the public

– Refreshments sourced from the University’s forests, fields and vineyards.

All participants are welcome on Thursday, 25 September at 14:00. The program concludes on Thursday afternoon and Friday whole day.
